Street Stocks ($3,000-to-win) Friday Gates open at 5:00 p.m.; Practice at 6:45 p.m.; w/racing at 7:30 p.m. - The Friday night show will consist of practice and qualifying heat races for Street Stocks, Xtreme Stock Cars and Four Cylinder Stock Cars. Saturday Gates open at 3:30 p.m.; Practice at 5:30 p.m. w/ racing at 6:00 p.m. - The Saturday show will featuring 50-lap feature for the street stocks, 40-lap feature for Xtreme Stock Cars and a 30-lap feature for the Four Cylinder Stock Cars. There will also be last chance qualifying races for the Street Stocks, Xtreme Stocks and Four Cylinder Stock Cars. Pricing: Pit Passes (age 14 & older) – Friday & Saturday = $20.00 each day Grandstands - Friday: Adults (Ages 18–59) - $10.00 / Young Adults (Ages 11-17) & Seniors (Ages 60 & older) - $9.00; Children (Ages 10 & under) are free. Saturday: Adults (Ages 18-59) - $14.00 / Young Adults (Ages 11-17) & Seniors (Ages 60 & older) - $12.00; Children (Ages 10 & older) are free. The Susquehanna Speedway Park is located off I-83 to exit 32 (Newberrytown exit), then 1.4 miles NW on SR382 to York Road, then 1.3 miles south. On raceday, use the track phone at (717) 938-9170. Camping is permitted at the track (outside the pit area) on Friday & Saturday nights (no open fires). Street Stocks (Friday & Saturday) Street Stock Feature Payoff: 1st $3,000; 2nd $1,000; 3rd $800; 4th $700; 5th $600; 6th $450; 7th $400; 8th $350; 9th $325; 10th $300; 11th $250; 12th $200; 13th $175; 14th $150; 15th $140; 16th $135; 17th $125; 18th – 25th $100. (25th starting spot is reserved for highest in SSP points who did not qualify.) $25,000 Bonus Money - A bonus of $25,000 is available for the winning driver in victory lane as two envelopes from 20 envelopes will be drawn to see if that driver is the winner of the bonus. The bonus money will be paid a later date once the winning envelopes are verified. Drivers must be pre-entered before October 13 in order to be eligible for the $25,000 bonus. Heat Race Payoff: ($25-to-win; $15 for 2nd; $10 for 3rd): presented by Williams Grove Graingers Flea Market (Race Car Flea Market to be held Fri & Sat Oct 24th & 25th) *Must be present and compete in heat race Friday in order to compete in Saturday’s races. Entry Fee (includes driver pit pass for both days): $75.00 (postmarked before Monday, September 22, 2008); $90.00 (postmarked between September 23 to October 13); $100.00 (postmarked October 14th or later). Specification Rules (Contact Larry Miller at Miller’s Racing Parts for questions 717-766-0181): 1. Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Must be a factory production chassis and frame with a minimum wheelbase of 103.0”. No round tube chassis or frames allowed. Unibody cars (Camaros/Novas, etc.) must have stock floorpan in place to show original locating points. Original frame may be reinforced with 2”x 3” box tubing (no round tube cars allowed). No Chrysler leaf springs allowed. No tubular rear control arms. All suspension mounting points must remain stock with stock rear and stock front lower control arms. Front upper control arms may be non adjustable tubular in stock mounting location. No 3rd links allowed. Rear frame section may be boxed in behind the rearend. No quick change rears. Only factory stock cast rears allowed. Ford 9” rears allowed. Grand National style floater rears are not permitted. Must have full four point roll cage with bracing out the front and rear. No Enduro cars. Weight jacks and racing shocks allowed. No coilover shocks. Cars must weigh 2800 lb. Minimum after the race by speedway scales. Sway bars and panhard bars allowed. 2. Tires & Wheels: Any tire up to 11” allowed (11” Late Model Tires permitted). Any steel wheel allowed up to 12” width. Bead locks permitted. 3. Bodies: Bodies must be stock appearing (No Late Model style bodies). No tubular bumpers unless they are covered by an aftermarket nose & tail piece. Stock appearing aluminum or steel aftermarket body panels permitted. No rear spoilers unless they are factory installed. 4. Carburetors: Limited to one 2 BBL carburetor that was originally manufactured as a 2 bbl carb. No Dominators or Predators allowed. Gasoline only. No alcohol, nitro, oxygenators, or any other additives allowed. No injection. 2” Max carb spacer. 5. Engine: Any factory production V-8 engine allowed. Maximum stock cubic inch of 365. No Stroker engines allowed. No aluminum heads or blocks. No roller cams or roller lifters. Any cast iron cylinder head permitted which originally had a maximum intake runner size of 200cc. “Big Port” Vortec Bowtie heads are not permitted Headers permitted. Stock type ignition system. No MSD ignition. Ford can use “Ford” ignition box. No electric fuel pumps allowed. No dry sump systems. 6. Driveline: Cars must be self starting with forward and reverse gears. Must have a blowproof bell housing. Stock transmission only. Automatics must have stock appearing torque converter. No multi disc clutches. No Bert or Brinn transmissions allowed. Clutch must be a minimum diameter of OEM (10.5” dia. for Chevy) 7. Safety: Cars must have approved racing seat, 4 or 5 point seat belts, window net or arm restraints, approved racing suit and helmet (minimum Snell SA90 rating). Xtreme Stock Cars (Friday & Saturday) Xtreme Stock Car Feature Payoff: 1st $1000; 2nd $400; 3rd $300; 4th $250; 5th $200; 6th $150; 7th $125; 8th $120; 9th $110; 10th $100; 11th $80; 12th $75; 13th $70; 14th $60; 15th $55; 16th-25th $50. 25th starting spot reserved for highest in SSP points who did not qualify. No tubular frames (leaf spring cars must be original style front leaf spring mounts located in original position and stock floorpan required in drivers area). No rear engine cars. Front or rear wheel drive cars o.k. Any 8” wide tire legal (10 ½” overall sidewall to sidewall measurement). 8” wide steel wheels (Beadlocks o.k.). 2 BBL / 500 cfm carb maiximum Holley #4412) stock throttle plate & Bore diameter. 2” Max carb. Spacer. 1 lb. Per cc weight rule (Any four cylinders engine – must be in same manufacturer line – Ford in Ford, Chevy in Chevy, etc.). No aluminum heads (except factory stock. Cars must have come stock with aluminum head. Factory aluminum heads only). No roller cams. Headers allowed. No wings of any kind (Rear spoilers permitted w/ max height of 8”). Engine cc must be clearly marked on hood. Fuel – gasoline only (Racing fuel permitted). All cars must be self starting and have working forward and reverse gears. Safety: Cars must have approved racing seat, 4 or 5 point seat belts, window net or arm restraints, approved racing suit and helmet (minimum Snell SA90 rating).
