11th Annual Millerís Racing Parts Fall Classic Slated for Friday & Saturday, October 18 at SSP

Newberrytown, PA (September 30, 2014) Ė For the first time in its history, the 11th Annual Millerís Racing Parts Fall Classic presented by Insinger Fuels returns to the Susquehanna Speedway Park as a one-day show on Saturday, October 18 featuring the Street Stocks, Xtreme Stock Cars, Road Warriors and the Mini Vans.    

As with previous years, both the Street Stocks and Xtreme Stock Cars will utilize small common set of rules along with the driverís home track rules.  The Street Stocks will accept rules from 19 different speedways from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey.  The Xtreme Stocks will accept rules from 17 speedways from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey.  The Road Warriors will follow that 2014 SSP rules that also allow cars to compete from other speedways.

The 50-lap Street Stock feature (all green flag laps with no scheduled fuel stops) will pay $1,500 to the winner.  All qualifying will be done through heats races and last chance consolation races.  The top three drivers in each heat race will redraw for their feature starting spot.  The remainder of the feature will be lined up according to finishing positions in the qualifying races. A blind draw will determine the heat race lineups. 

 

The 40-lap Xtreme Stock Car feature event will pay $750.00 to the winner.  All qualifying will be done through heats races and last chance consolation races.  The top three drivers in each heat race will redraw for their feature starting spot. A blind draw will determine the heat race lineups. 

The 30-lap Road Warrior feature event will pay $500 to the winner.  All qualifying will be done through heat races and last chance consolation races.  There will be an inversion drawn for the feature event by the winner of the first heat race.  A blind draw will determine the heat race lineups.   

Gates will open on Saturday for both the pit area at 1:30 p.m. and the grandstands at 2:00 p.m.    Warmups begin at 3:30 p.m. with racing action beginning at 4:00 p.m.   

 

General Admission Grandstand ticket prices for Saturday night are Adults (ages 18-59) $15.00; Young Adults (ages 11-17) & Senior Adults (60 & Older) $13.00; Children (10 & under) are free.  Pit pass prices are $25.00 ($20.00 with exchange of Fridayís pit pass).   The minimum age requirement to purchase a pit pass is 12 years of age with a copy of a birth certificate is required for all ages 12 to 14.   

The raindate will be Sunday, October 19 if necessary with the same time schedule

At last yearís Fall Classic, Mike Walls of Hanover took the checkers in the Street Stock main event to earn $2,000 at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Saturday night.  The Street Stock feature was one of four divisions featured at the 10th Annual Millerís Racing Parts Fall Classic presented in part with Insinger Performance Fuels.  Doverís Chad Stine took the lead from the start and never looked back to win the Xtreme Stock Car 40 lapper.  Kevin Thomas of St. Johns won the 30-lap Four Cylinder Stock Car feature.  On Friday night, Matt Wallace from Mt. Airy, MD won the exciting Classic Cars 20 lap feature event.
